About us

Air pollution including the high concentration events of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and ozone (O3), caused by the socio-economic activity of human is currently one of the rising issues to be studied in the environmental science and engineering fields due to its huge impacts on the life style of human-beings.

AIR lab can make a comprehensive understanding for various air pollution issues and contribute to develop the solutions to handle real world problems, such as PM2.5 and ozone pollution.

First, basic to advanced scientific and engineering approaches are performed in AIR lab to improve the knowledge about the cause of air pollution and add more scientific understanding of very complicated atmospheric process.

Second, the multi-disciplinary works in AIR lab are  conducted together with many professionals in atmospheric chemistry/engineering, epidemiology, and planning disciplines to derive integrated analyses to derive solutions to real world air quality problems.
